X-Rite DTP94
CPS Monitor Profiler is now supplied with a X-Rite DTP94 people with the existing hardware Monaco Optix should use this option when making a Monitor profiler.

Improved reproduction of saturated colours
The output profile generation algorithm used in CMYK and RGB Output Profiler has been modified to improve the reproduction of light saturated out of gamut colours.

Option to disable auto range
An option has been added to the Input Job Ticket to allow autorange to be disabled. When the 'Apply range edits to all images.' is deselected the range settings below will be disabled. This option only affects images that do not have range edits. If the image already has a range edit it will be unaffected. This option also makes it possible to process images through drop folders without applying a range edit.

Improved support for colourspace profiles
Various bug fixes and changes have improved ColourKits handling of colourspace profiles.

Simulation profiles
Image Editor has be modified to allow a simulation of final output to be viewed whilst still editing and processing images for RGB output. The feature is offered as an alternative to ColourKit current Proofer profile behaviour and can be enabled in the Preference / Monitor dialog.

Add greyscale image support for input and output
Limited support for greyscale images has been added. When open greyscale images and there embedded profile can be converted to RGB for use in ColourKit.

Bug Fixes

• EyeOne, Spectroscan and DTP41 measuring devices were not correctly selecting the initial patch before a chart was measured.
• Dongle password is not remembered if CPS modules are installed without Image Editor or Image Processor.
• Profiles with unusual overprint characteristics or noisy data near white gave very light black point for process and bad out of gamut colours.
• The last location for the image open and save dialog was not remembered. The location was always reverted to the profiled images folder.
• The default USM edit was not shown in the Edit manager window.
• The reference points for the Spectroscan RGB Chart were incorrect. You will need to delete the images/files in 'RGB Output Profiler Files\Standard Chart Images\Spectroscan'. The correct file will then be regenerated on launch.
• Notification of alerts when a MacOS ColourKit application is in background could cause later crash.
• The job log for Image Processor and ColourKit Manager always disappeared when re-starting the application, even if the preference settings set to remain it wanted days.
• Numeric entry in the Measurement Tool section of the Processed Image Info in Image Editor jumps when trying to type in a defined size after measuring.
• MacOS Output Profiler crashes when expected chart information is not in chart image.
• Problems with editing AdobeRGB profile with a colour sample where the chroma exceeds 127 i.e. saturated green.
• Image Editor. When using XYZ input profiles L* values are not achieved exactly in the sample and edit windows.
• Image Editor. When using XYZ input profiles the linked range/cast edit does not get required target.
• The ICC mode for Relative and Absolute intents do not give exact null edits for coloured black and white points for initial edits.
• Windows Image Editor does not have a dual screen mode.
• Image Editor - Stain occurs in shadow area when the EW & EB points are moved in the Range edit and there is a Tone edit which only contains EW & EB points in the curve.
• Monitor Profiling. The Colorsync Utility tool reports a padding error in target tag for Monitor Profiles.
• Image Editor PC version incorrectly reads some parametric curves in v4 profiles.
• RGB profile for Fuji glossy ink jet paper on a Canon iP4000 printer, the curves are corrupted in the profile.

Please note that software versions designated "b" or "beta" are a current pre-release level that have undergone limited validation. They may include additional desirable features but if you encounter problems please advise us and consider reverting to the current released version.
